What is µ-tec?

µ-tec is a brand of Panchromos Limited through which we market a range of tools, parts, instruments and modules we've either found useful in our own work as product designers and engineers, or we created as spin-offs from our development projects.

PCB for Hamamatsu S9226

S9226 PCB

For a project I needed to use a Hamamatsu S9226 linear photodiode array, so I made a small PCB that can be mounted onto a Linos Photonics MicroBench optical breadboard. I still have a few left, contact me if you would like one.

The PCB measures 20mm wide by 16mm high, with 2.2mm mounting holes at 14mm pitch. On the rear of the board there are two pads for 0603 decoupling caps, and a 2x4 0.1" pitch pin header.

PAM401

PAM401

PAM401 is a 4-channel USB pico-ammeter, with full-scale ranges between 15pA and 2mA. At 15pA full-scale takes 1 sample/second, increasing to a maximum of 3,000 samples per second for higher current ranges. I've used it mainly for measurements on photodiodes. Read more...

MicroSD-card adapter

MicroSD adapter PCB

For one project we needed to connect the microSD- socket on anevaluation board to a "full-size" SD-card socket in our product demonstrator. This little PCB takes the place of a microSD card and brings out the 8 pins of the socket on a 0.05"/1.27mm pitch - you can either use a MicroMatch socket or solder flatcable directly to the pads.
